Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Klausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Ralek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentin Ralek is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hans Klausen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Valentin Ralek! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klausen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ralek circles away quickly and effectively. Klausen misses with a head kick.
Ralek tries to clinch up but Klausen circles away and keeps his distance. Klausen throws a head kick but Ralek moves out of range.
Ralek throws a right hand that misses
letting Klausen counter with a right hand. Ralek goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Klausen dives in and scores a takedown into Ralek's guard. Klausen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ralek works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ralek can do anything to dispel that myth. Klausen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Klausen chips away with some ground and pound. Klausen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Klausen stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ralek to get to his feet. Ralek throws out a loose jab but Klausen uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ralek clinches up against the cage. Ralek lands a nice elbow. Ralek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ralek showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Klausen.
Ralek misses with a body kick. Ralek moves in looking to clinch but Klausen pushes him off. Ralek throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ralek's coach down at Lethal Tech Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ralek's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Klausen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ralek throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Klausen is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ralek is looking to clinch but Klausen is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ralek ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Klausen's jaw. Klausen's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ralek does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Valentin Ralek!
