Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Namba Babakla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Namba Babakla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Glover!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babakla is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Glover.
Glover misses with an uppercut. Babakla saw that one coming.
Babakla closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Glover's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Glover has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Babakla is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Glover.
Glover is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Babakla is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Namba Babakla overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Babakla takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Namba Babakla will probably get the nod.

Babakla takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Glover moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Glover lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Glover. Babakla does a little dance to reset his feet.

Glover tries to bum rush Babakla with a series of wild strikes but Babakla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Glover takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Babakla feints and as Glover raises his hands in defense, Babakla changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
