The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cacho looks to land a combination but Lindros avoids it well.
Lindros lands a nice looking kick to the body. Cacho takes a step back to recover.

Lindros looks to throw the jab but Cacho is out of range.
Lindros looks to land a left hand but Cacho moved out of range nicely.
Cacho throws a lazy head kick
and Lindros counters with a thumping low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lindros fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A slow jab from Cacho misses its intended target.
Lindros throws a leg kick but Cacho sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Lindros connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Lindros jabs Cacho right on the nose. Cacho blinks but takes it well.

Cacho is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cacho crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lindros - the referee stops the clock and Cacho gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lindros. Cacho manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Oh Cacho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cacho is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick lands from Lindros.
Lindros lands a leg kick that knocks Cacho off balance momentarily.
Lindros is stalking Cacho. Cacho circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Lindros, and it's lights out! Cacho really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Eric Lindros decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
