Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Will Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes to the cage accompanied by All I do Is win. Cerdan has chosen French National Anthem as his entrance music. Marcel Cerdan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 22 - 1, fighting out of New York, Will Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 18 - 2, fighting out of New York, Marcel Cerdan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks misses with a looping right. Banks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cerdan throws an overhand right that lands on Banks's shoulder, as Banks tries to avoid the shot. Banks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A big right from Cerdan misses. Cerdan misses with a wild body shot. Banks throws a wild body kick that Cerdan sees coming a mile off. Banks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cerdan.
Cerdan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Banks in his tracks. A slow jab from Cerdan misses its intended target. Cerdan misses with a looping left. Sloppy strikes from Cerdan. Those never looked like landing. Banks misses the jab. Cerdan throws a jab when Banks was well out of range. We've been informed that Cerdan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Cerdan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cerdan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cerdan prevents Banks from moving into mount. Cerdan is trying to buck Banks off. A lull in the action here as Banks stalls from top position. Banks working the head with strikes. Cerdan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Banks throws an elbow but Cerdan slips to the side and avoids it well. Cerdan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Banks asserts his dominance and retains side control. Cerdan is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Banks works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Banks works to advance to full mount. Cerdan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Banks trying to control but Cerdan is having none of it. Banks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerdan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Banks looking to control but Cerdan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cerdan really wants to buck Banks off and get back to his feet. Cerdan somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Cerdan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Banks misses with a body kick. Banks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cerdan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Banks moves out of range of the strikes. Cerdan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cerdan throws an overhand right that lands on Banks's shoulder, as Banks tries to avoid the shot. Banks swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Banks staying out of range there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Banks slips a jab from Cerdan. Banks looks to score with a jab to the body but Cerdan is just out of range. Good exchange - Cerdan coming out on top. Cerdan throws a sloppy head kick and Banks moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Will Banks will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Banks staggers backwards, shaken. Cerdan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cerdan throws a looping overhand right but Banks ducks down to avoid it. Cerdan misses with a low kick as Banks jumps back. Cerdan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Banks looking to score a takedown here. Cerdan is defending well but Banks drives through and ends up in Cerdan's guard. Cerdan wants to stand up but Banks is controlling him. Cerdan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Banks is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Banks stops Cerdan from standing up. Banks postures up in Cerdan's guard and throws a big left but Cerdan blocks it. Banks won't allow Cerdan to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cerdan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Banks trying to control but Cerdan is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cerdan fails to land with a series of punches.

Banks throws a hook but Cerdan avoids it easily. Banks drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Banks slips under a jab. Banks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cerdan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cerdan throws a hook to the side of Banks's head but Banks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Banks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cerdan throws out the jab. Marcel Cerdan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Banks misses with a low kick.

Cerdan is looking to stand up but Banks isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are working up against the cage. Cerdan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cerdan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Banks keeps control of Cerdan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Banks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cerdan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Banks circles away quickly and effectively. Cerdan throws a big shot that misses. Banks misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Marcel Cerdan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Banks counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Cerdan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Banks keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Banks has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Banks is trying to control. Cerdan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Banks uses his free foot to push down on Cerdan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cerdan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerdan is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Banks throws a wild left hand from mount and Cerdan manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Cerdan is looking to escape. Banks slips a nice elbow through Cerdan's hands, connecting with Cerdan's forehead. Cerdan wants to get back to his feet. Banks content to control rather than advance. Cerdan pushes Banks off but Banks dives into side control.
Cerdan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Banks lands an elbow. Cerdan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Banks connects with a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cerdan! Cerdan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Banks cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cerdan is bucking up trying to escape but Banks cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Banks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cerdan is looking to escape. Banks pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Cerdan is rocked! Cerdan tries to buck Banks off but he can't manage it. Cerdan is still in real trouble! Can Banks finish him? Banks connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks unloading with bombs! Banks drops a big elbow. That's hurt Cerdan! More shots from Banks and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
