Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Picton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mikhail Nikolaev!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolaev moves into the clinch.
Picton looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Picton tries to pull guard but Nikolaev won't allow it.
Nikolaev is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Nikolaev manages to break the clinch.
Nikolaev scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nikolaev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Picton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nikolaev counters with a nice right hand that sends Picton toppling to the canvas! Picton scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nikolaev finish him?!
Picton is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nikolaev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Picton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nikolaev gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nikolaev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nikolaev stuns Picton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Picton has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Nikolaev.
Nikolaev closes the distance and pushes Picton back into the cage.
Nikolaev lands an uppercut.
Nikolaev lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nikolaev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nikolaev punishes Picton's body with a nice straight punch.
Nikolaev drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Picton's head, knocking him out cold! Nikolaev is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mikhail Nikolaev!
In defeat, Kevin Picton stepped up to the mic, saying 'I would like to thank my manager for sucking so bad, this defeat goes to you angry dude!'.
