Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blagojevic Batakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenk Karleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Blagojevic Batakovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frenk Karleon!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batakovic closes the distance and pushes Karleon back into the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Batakovic.
Still in the clinch, Batakovic scores with a nice short uppercut.
Batakovic successfully pulls guard.
Karleon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Karleon wanted to stand there but Batakovic had control of the position.
Karleon preventing the sweep.
Batakovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karleon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Batakovic is looking for a triangle but Karleon pushes his legs off easily.
Batakovic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Batakovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karleon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Batakovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Karleon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Batakovic has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Karleon is looking to defend but Batakovic has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Karleon! Batakovic pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Karleon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Blagojevic Batakovic!
