The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Couture showed some decent athleticism there.
Couture winds up and cracks Berisha with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Berisha is looking to improve his position.
Couture has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Couture lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Berisha! More strikes land and this one is all over! Couture jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

A relieved looking Leon Couture thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
