Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benny Henderson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Nguyen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benny Henderson !
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson throws a series of punches but Nguyen moves out of range.
Henderson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Nguyen feints and as Henderson raises his hands in defense, Nguyen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nguyen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Nguyen stands up and waves to Henderson to follow him.

Nguyen moves into the clinch.
Nguyen really is a fat lump.
Nguyen has Henderson pressed against the cage, preventing Henderson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Nguyen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Henderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nguyen.

Nguyen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nguyen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nguyen tries to land a knee to the head but Henderson blocks with his arms.
Nguyen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henderson walks away with a smile on his face. Nguyen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Henderson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nguyen has managed to clinch.
Nguyen managing to block the knees to the body from Henderson .
Henderson blocks an elbow strike from Nguyen.
Henderson tries to circle away but Nguyen has him pinned against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Nguyen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Henderson can't fight it off and eventually Nguyen manages to take the fight to the floor. Henderson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nguyen gets to his feet - Henderson follows without any prompting.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Nguyen clinches up with Henderson and pushes him back against the cage.

Nguyen pulls guard.

Nguyen has his feet on Henderson 's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Henderson gets tackled into the cage by Nguyen. Nguyen maintains the clinch.

Nguyen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Henderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Nguyen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nguyen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Henderson . That did some damage!
Nguyen just misses with a punch to the body.

Nguyen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henderson sprawls well initially but Nguyen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nguyen is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Henderson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
