Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Ben Faur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Faur has chosen remember the name as his entrance music. Pete Gordon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jean Ben Faur's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pete Gordon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Ben Faur! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ben Faur shoots in for a double leg but Gordon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gordon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ben Faur falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Gordon counter with a right hand. Gordon misses with a wild combination.
Ben Faur shoots in and gets a takedown into Gordon's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gordon is looking to stand up but Ben Faur isn't so interested in that idea. Ben Faur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. You can see the frustration on Gordon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gordon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gordon tries to get out of the position. Ben Faur wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gordon keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ben Faur might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gordon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Ben Faur throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Gordon pushes Ben Faur away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ben Faur gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ben Faur is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gordon looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ben Faur gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gordon is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ben Faur lets go of the hold and Gordon can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jean Ben Faur! Jean Ben Faur tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
