Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trevor Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dawid Bellego!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Stone manages to break the clinch.
Bellego shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Bellego's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stone has a takedown stuffed.
Bellego closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bellego eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Dawid Bellego has been cut.
Stone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Stone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bellego quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bellego is positioning himself well to prevent Stone advancing to mount.
Bellego wants to control but Stone is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stone wants to stand but Bellego has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Stone tries to stand and escape but Bellego actually recovers to full guard.
Stone wants to stand but Bellego is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bellego is pulling down on Stone's head. It's preventing any offense from Stone, at least for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stone fails with a takedown attempt.
Bellego stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bellego gets a takedown into half guard.

Stone pushes Bellego off looking to stand but Bellego dives back in and keeps control.
Stone is breathing heavily.

Bellego has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stone defend it? Bellego steps over the head and cranks it - Stone is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bellego!
