Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruise Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Valdemes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's entrance music is Mortal Kombat Theme. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruise Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Valdemes!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdemes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lee counters with an inside leg kick.
Valdemes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Valdemes off to one side.
Valdemes darts in looking for a takedown but Lee gets double underhooks and turns Valdemes into the cage.
Bruise Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Valdemes.
Lee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Valdemes keeps control of Lee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valdemes tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valdemes to the ground. Valdemes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Valdemes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Valdemes avoids the body shot from Lee.
Valdemes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Valdemes is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee is trying to stand up here but Valdemes is controlling him well.
Lee wants to improve his position but Valdemes is controlling well.
Valdemes maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lee could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Valdemes has cracked it and Lee is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Valdemes!
