Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kule Den (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kule Den!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, General Lee!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Lee!

Lee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Den did well to prevent Lee getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Den on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Den tries to get out of the position.
Lee throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Den to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

General Lee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kule Den's cut.
That's time! Den's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lee works Den's body with a nice hook.
Den fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee misses with an uppercut.
Lee misses with a body shot.
Lee connects with a leg kick. Den looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Den tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Den to the ground. Den escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
General Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Den throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Den closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee is keeping an eye on Den - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Den takes an elbow to the forehead.

Lee is working for takedown but Den is calmly controlling the position for now.

Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Den gets an underhook and turns Lee into the cage.

General Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Den can't find room to land a body shot as Lee controls the action.

Jeez, Kule Den's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

General Lee seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Lee lands an elbow just above Den 's eye.
Lee is trying to drag Den to the mat but Den just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Den digs a right hand underneath Lee's ribcage. Lee let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Den avoids a wild elbow strike from Lee.
Den throws a head punch that misses.
General Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Den looking to slow down the pace here.
Kule Den has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kule Den's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
