Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eduardo Hinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pops Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hinton.

Hinton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mcgee working a defensive guard but Hinton manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mcgee bucks up and tries to throw Hinton off but instead Hinton has got his back!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Hinton.
Hinton cracks Mcgee with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Mcgee from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Mcgee wants to get back to his feet.

Mcgee covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Hinton softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Mcgee is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Can Mcgee hold on?! Hinton is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Hinton patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hinton is hanging on to Mcgee's back as he tries to escape.
Mcgee is covering up but some of the strikes from Hinton are getting through and doing damage.
Mcgee is trapped and Hinton is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Hinton trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A swing and a miss from Mcgee.

Mcgee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hinton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hinton is on top in guard.
Hinton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mcgee is striking from the bottom but Hinton uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Hinton throwing shots but Mcgee is blocking nicely.

Hinton stands up and beckons Mcgee to join him on the feet.
Hinton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mcgee misses with a right hand

and Hinton counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mcgee looking to control.
Mcgee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hinton dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgee is breathing heavily.
Mcgee is looking to reverse the position.

Hinton stands up and beckons Mcgee to his feet.

Hinton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcgee to the mat! Mcgee manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hinton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mcgee, up you get!
Mcgee stuffs the takedown attempt from Hinton. Hinton gets slowly back to his feet.

Mcgee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hinton on his heels. He'll look to pass Hinton's guard now, I'm sure.
Hinton is trying to control the position but Mcgee postures up.
Hinton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mcgee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Mcgee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hinton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mcgee!
Hinton lands a couple of good shots and Mcgee has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Mcgee tries to escape the position.

Hinton lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Hinton throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Mcgee!
Hinton lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Mcgee.
Hinton trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hinton gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Mcgee misses with an uppercut. Hinton saw that one coming.
Mcgee motions for Hinton to come forward. Mcgee throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Mcgee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hinton!
Hinton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mcgee off and has taken his back!
Hinton keeps control of the position as Mcgee tries to break free.
Mcgee wants to control his opponent's hands but Hinton gets his hands free.
Mcgee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mcgee is really stuck here.

Hinton sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Mcgee taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eduardo Hinton!
The defeated Pops Mcgee had this to say: 'Well I'm very sorry I lost as an older man my body is not what it used to be im going back to the drawing board to rethink my game plan and I'll be back to bang it out with whoever the matchmakers put me against'.
