Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Crasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crone Daris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Crone Daris was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Crasher! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Crone Daris! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crasher rushes Daris and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Daris is trying to break the clinch but Crasher is controlling him. A nice left hand lands by Daris.
Crasher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Daris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slow jab from Daris misses its intended target. Crasher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Crasher is trying to control the action in half guard but Daris is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Crasher is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Daris is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Daris wants to improve his position but Crasher is controlling well.
Crasher is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daris sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daris is trying to control but Crasher passes into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daris is looking to regain half guard here but Crasher keeps moving and retains side control. Crasher decides to stand up, so the ref orders Daris to his feet. A combination from Daris does no damage. Crasher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crasher misses with the combination.
Daris throws a combination. Crasher tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Johnny Crasher has been cut. Crasher tries to clinch up. Crasher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daris defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Oooooh!!! Daris has knocked Crasher down with a huge combo! Daris steps away and waves a wobbly Crasher back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Crasher is rocked! Crasher shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Daris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crasher circles away quickly and effectively. Crasher shoots in for a takedown but Daris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Crasher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crasher fails in his attempt to clinch. Crasher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Daris pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Crasher back to the cage. Daris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Oh Crasher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Crasher is breathing heavily. Daris lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Crasher falls backwards - clearly groggy! Daris dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crone Daris! Crone Daris is the new middleweight champion!
