Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Walkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kev Baylis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kev Baylis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Troy Walkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kev Baylis! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baylis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Baylis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walkman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Baylis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baylis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walkman instigates a clinch. Baylis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Walkman lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Baylis lands a nice knee to the body. Baylis looking to throw knees to the head but Walkman is blocking nicely.

Baylis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walkman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Baylis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baylis feints a jab promting Walkman to slip. Baylis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Walkman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Troy Walkman has been cut. Baylis dives in and grabs Walkman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walkman pushes down on Baylis's head and hops out. Walkman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Walkman takes a kick to the side of the head. Walkman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Baylis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Baylis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Walkman doesn't seem bothered though. Walkman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Walkman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Walkman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A combination from Baylis does no damage. We've been informed that Baylis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Baylis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walkman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Baylis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Good exchange - Baylis coming out on top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good standup being displayed there by Baylis as he connects with a hook. Baylis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Walkman is trying to maintain the position but Baylis is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walkman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Walkman has a hand on Baylis's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Baylis takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baylis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Walkman is trying desperately to improve position.

Baylis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walkman is looking to escape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walkman tightens his grip and picks Baylis up, before dumping him to the ground. Baylis manages to land in guard. Walkman wanted to stand there but Baylis had control of the position. Walkman looking to sit in guard and control but Baylis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kev Baylis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Walkman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Baylis is trying to control. Walkman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Kev Baylis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Baylis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
