The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Up.
Up misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Boy fails with the takedown
and Up counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Boy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Up is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
My spies in Finch Farm inform me that Up has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Up tries to free his leg and advance position but Boy is retaining full guard.
Up is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Boy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Boy has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Up drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Up as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Boy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Up! Nice submission victory there!
