Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Just Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Khrapov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khrapov has chosen Rocky road to Dublin (RUS) as his entrance music. Vasiliy Khrapov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roll shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Khrapov sprawls well. Khrapov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roll gets slowly back to his feet.
Roll misses with a takedown attempt - Khrapov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roll shoots in for a double leg but Khrapov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Just Roll. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khrapov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roll.

and Khrapov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khrapov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Khrapov missing with a left hand there. Roll was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Just Roll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roll looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Khrapov has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Khrapov drops Roll with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Roll looks back up at him and smiles so Khrapov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Roll is rocked!
Khrapov fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Roll square on the jaw! Damn, Roll is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
