Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Breashers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Breashers! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Breashers or perhaps it was just good defense by Black which made him look bad. Breashers scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Black looks like he's trying to stand up.
Black is pressing down on Breashers's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Breashers avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Black has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Breashers off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Black is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Breashers swats away the attempt to clinch by Black. Breashers gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Black controls Breashers momentarily but Breashers frees himself. Black wants to stand but Breashers is controlling the position. Breashers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breashers wants to stand but Black is controlling his posture from full guard. Breashers seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Black wants to stand but Breashers is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Black is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Black misses with a series of wild punches.

Nice sprawl there from Black as Breashers shoots in. Black misses with a looping left. Breashers swats away the attempt to clinch by Black. Breashers slips a jab and a cross from Black.
Black throws out a loose jab but Breashers uses good head movement to avoid it. Breashers feints and as Black raises his hands in defense, Breashers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breashers controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Breashers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Black wants to stand and escape but Breashers is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Breashers dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Breashers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Breashers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Breashers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Black is trying to stand up here but Breashers is controlling him well. Breashers keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Breashers wants to pass the guard but Black is defending well. Black is trying to control but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breashers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, David Breashers just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Black lands a two punch combo.
Breashers gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Black's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Breashers just content to control the position. Breashers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black manages to work his way to half guard, despite Breashers's best efforts. Black is trying to stand up here but Breashers is controlling him well. Black trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Breashers tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Breashers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Black looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Black thuds a left hand into Breashers's body. Breashers gets a takedown into half guard. Black wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Breashers in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Breashers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Black misses with a two punch combination.
Breashers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Black looks to score with a jab to the body but Breashers is just out of range. Black stuffs the takedown attempt from Breashers. Breashers gets slowly back to his feet. A left and a right from Black both land. Nice combination. Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Breashers moves forwards but Black connects with a nice, crisp jab. Black clinches with his opponent.
Black is looking to break free of the clinch but Breashers has double underhooks. Black breaks from the clinch.
Breashers slips a jab from Black. Black throws a nice looking combination but Breashers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Breashers lands a jab to Black's midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breashers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Black looking to control.
Breashers controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Breashers prevents Black from getting back to his feet. Breashers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Breashers throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely. Black throws a combination that misses and Breashers counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Black! Black working to try and regain half guard.
Black is working hard here to advance position. Breashers controlling the position easily from mount. Breashers prevents Black from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breashers content just to control the position here. Lucas Black has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Breashers avoids the attempt from Black to control.
