Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tropa de Elite kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiago Jorge!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock lands with a right hand.
Jorge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murdock's waist but Murdock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jorge off to one side.
Murdock throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jorge closes this distance looking for a takedown but Murdock circles away.
Jorge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murdock swivels and escapes.
Mike Murdock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiago Jorge.
A telegraphed right hand from Murdock misses the target.
Murdock closes the distance and clinches.
Jorge has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Murdock regains guard immediately.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jorge works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Murdock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jorge is trying to control. Murdock wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jorge winds up and cracks Murdock with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jorge passes to side control.
Jorge misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Murdock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jorge on the ground.

The ground and pound from Jorge seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jorge throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Jorge trying to control the action but Murdock is working from the bottom.
Jorge slows the pace down.
Jorge tries to advance position but instead Murdock slips a leg back in to half guard.
Jorge wants to pass the guard but Murdock is defending well.
Murdock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murdock tries to get out of the position.

Jorge slows the pace down in half guard.
Jorge wants to take a breather but Murdock is having none of it.
Murdock is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Murdock wants to improve his position but Jorge is controlling well.
Murdock is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Lethal Tech Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Jorge trying to advance position but Murdock counters by regaining guard.

Jorge wants to control from the top but Murdock keeps moving.
Jorge missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jorge passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Murdock is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jorge is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jorge throws a strike aimed at the side of Murdock's head but Murdock avoids it well.
Murdock takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jorge has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Murdock!
Jorge lands a big shot there that rocks Murdock but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jorge wants to control the pace but Murdock is squirming around nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jorge lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Murdock! Jorge sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Murdock and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
