Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garett Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bane Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by shipping of to boston. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bane Price! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price lands a right hook to the body.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch but Price swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Green has managed to clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Green enables Price to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Green manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Green wants to stand up but Price is controlling him. Green has his feet on Price's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

We've been informed that Price has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Green has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Price clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Green connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Price to escape the position.
Green gets his hands free as Price looks to control. Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Price covering up well under a barage of strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green struggling to land strikes to the head as Price covers up. Green is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Price is trapped and Green is scoring with shots to the head and body. Green misses with a punch to the head. Green tries to keep control of the position but Price is staying busy. Price avoids the strikes from Green. Green missing with strikes. Green tries to get the hooks in deep but Price pushed the leg off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Green is hanging on to Price's back as he tries to escape.
Price looks winded! Green throwing wild punches that miss their target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Garett Green dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Price with the ground and pound but Green uses the opportunity to regain guard. Green wants to get back to his feet but Price is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Price landing with the ground and pound. Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Price is looking to work some ground and pound but Green has wrist control. Price is working Green over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Price distracts Green with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Price landing with the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Price postures up.

Green utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bane Price has got the better of the ground game so far. Green wants to stand and escape but Price is having none of it. Price landing some decent shots from guard. Price lands a couple of digs. Price postures up and lands a big shot to Green's brow. Price must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Green is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Price postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Green covers up, he's hurt! Price keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Price and the ref steps in to end the fight! Price can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
