Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McReady is looking to clinch.
McDermott fails with a takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from McReady.
McReady is looking to clinch.
McDermott fails to land the takedown.
McDermott tries to score a power double leg takedown but McReady sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McDermott somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert McDermott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McDermott tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McReady defends well and McDermott ends up having to push McReady into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
McReady lands a nice elbow.

McReady lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McDermott at a distance.
McDermott is breathing heavily.
McReady is looking to clinch but McDermott is avoiding it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McReady closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McReady pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McReady feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McDermott's calf.
McReady defending well as McDermott loads up on a big left hand.

McDermott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McReady lands a big right hand that sends McDermott crashing to the mat! McReady stays standing though and waves McDermott back to his feet!
McDermott is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McReady tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh McDermott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDermott tries to keep at a distance but McReady has taken the fight into the clinch.
McReady creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops McDermott! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for McReady.
