Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballantine pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ballantine dodges the punch combination from Beefcake.
Ballantine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Beefcake scores with a leg kick.
Beefcake tries to clinch but Ballantine is having none of it.
Ballantine cracks the inside of Beefcake's front leg.
Beefcake ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ballantine closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Beefcake quickly recovers to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ballantine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beefcake is just riding it out for now. Ballantine eventually gives up the hold.
Ballantine thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beefcake's head.
