Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Mlodzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mlodzinski comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Mlodzinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Smith! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mlodzinski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mlodzinski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mlodzinski shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mlodzinski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Smith avoids the head kick by Mlodzinski.

Mlodzinski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mlodzinski somewhat. Mlodzinski fails with the takedown and Smith counters with a leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Mlodzinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mlodzinski shoots and misses and Smith counters with a slapping leg kick. Mlodzinski is breathing heavily. Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mlodzinski, pushing him back against the cage. Mlodzinski wants a takedown.
Smith utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Smith lands an elbow just above Mlodzinski 's eye. Smith using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mlodzinski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mlodzinski pulls guard effortlessly. Mlodzinski looking for a sweep. Not yet Mlodzinski, not yet. Mlodzinski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well. Smith gets to his feet - Mlodzinski follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is looking to clinch. Smith moves in looking to clinch but Mlodzinski pushes him off. Mlodzinski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Smith counters with a head kick. That will keep Mlodzinski thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smith wants to clinch. Adam Mlodzinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mlodzinski with a lazy takedown attempt and Smith counters with a two punch combo. Smith forces Mlodzinski back against the cage and clinches. Mlodzinski looking to throw knees to the head but Smith is blocking nicely.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Smith. Smith lands a nice elbow from the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith lands an elbow just above Mlodzinski 's eye. Smith lands a good knee to the midsection. Mlodzinski won't want to take too many of those. Smith lands a damaging elbow. Mlodzinski goes for a takedown attempt but Smith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Smith tries to clinch up but Mlodzinski circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith tries to clinch but Mlodzinski is having none of it. A head kick misses from Mlodzinski. Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Smith lands an elbow just above Mlodzinski 's eye.
It looks like Adam Mlodzinski has been cut. Smith crunches a lovely knee into Mlodzinski's ribcage. Smith lands an elbow inside that Mlodzinski shrugs off. Smith creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mlodzinski's defenses. Smith drops Mlodzinski with a big knee straight up the middle! Mlodzinski is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Mlodzinski is rocked! Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mlodzinski, pushing him back against the cage. Oh Mlodzinski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Smith lands a nice knee to the body. Smith lands a big knee! That's hurt Mlodzinski! Oh, he's all over the place! Smith lands another knee that sends Mlodzinski to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Smith!
