Takaki comes to the cage accompanied by Mahavishnu Orchestra - Meeting Of The Spirits. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lee backs up against the cage.
Takaki tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee dodges the punch combination from Takaki.
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Takaki throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takaki lands with a kick to the temple. Lee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takaki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lee jumps guard but Takaki turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A right hook to the body lands for Takaki.
Takaki has a couple of punches blocked by Lee.
Lee tries to stall but Takaki uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Takaki throws a head punch that misses.
Lee is trying to pull guard but Takaki turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Takehiko Takaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee.

Takaki clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
