Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Royler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Royler's choice of entrance music: Metallica - Fuel. Lisandro Magalhaes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roy Royler's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalhaes checks a leg kick nicely.
Magalhaes shoots for a double leg takedown but Royler sprawls well. He's pushed Magalhaes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Royler as he avoids it easily.
Magalhaes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Royler.
Magalhaes seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Magalhaes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Royler pinned against the cage. Royler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Magalhaes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Royler tries to avoid it but Magalhaes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Royler to the ground. Royler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Magalhaes dives in and scores a takedown into Royler's guard.
Magalhaes has gone for a leg lock! Royler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Magalhaes's guard.
Royler prevents Magalhaes from getting back to his feet.

Royler wants to pass the guard but Magalhaes is keeping the position.

Royler stands and steps away. Magalhaes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Royler digs a right hand into Magalhaes's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Magalhaes's gas tank.
Royler goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Magalhaes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Royler smiles and moves away.
Royler lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Royler finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Magalhaes lands with a cross.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Royler! Magalhaes is out on his feet! Royler rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Magalhaes is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Magalhaes is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Roy Royler looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Not talking so much shit now, are we? I challenge Cajun Xander, a fight to the death!'.
