Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martin Craftt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Ree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Craftt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Konstantin Ree! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Ree or perhaps it was just good defense by Craftt which made him look bad. Craftt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ree's waist but Ree gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Craftt off to one side. Craftt stuffs the takedown attempt from Ree. Ree gets slowly back to his feet. Ree tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Craftt swivels and escapes. Martin Craftt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Ree. Ree misses with a two punch combination.
Ree shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Craftt is trying to defend but Ree finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ree wants to work for an arm triangle but Craftt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Craftt manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ree keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Ree looking to slow down the pace here. Knees in the clinch landing for Craftt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Craftt stops a takedown attempt from Ree.

Ree has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Craftt seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Ree can turn it around. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Craftt decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ree throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Craftt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Craftt. Ree thuds a left hand into Craftt's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ree shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Craftt pinned against the cage. Craftt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ree with a lazy takedown attempt and Craftt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Craftt. Ree tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Craftt smiles and moves away.
Ree fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Craftt avoids it really well and circles away. Ree shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ree looks for a takedown but Craftt sprawls well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Craftt moves into range and clinches up with Ree. Ree fails to pull guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ree wants a takedown.

Ree chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Craftt can pounce on him.

Craftt has Ree pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Ree is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Craftt - that's hurt Ree badly! Oh, another knee lands and Ree is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Ree doesn't seem to be complaining.
