The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tammih walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Tammih's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tammih scrambles back to his feet.
Cross scores with a sloppy right hand. Tammih should have avoided that one.
Cross throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cross pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cross misses with a looping left.
Tammih uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cross.
Cross throws an off balance right hand

and Tammih counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cross!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tammih has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cross is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tammih yanks on the arm and Cross is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tammih.

A relieved looking Igosh Tammih thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
