Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randall Flagg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Alexander Zelaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flagg comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Walter Alexander Zelaya!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zelaya, as that shot connected.
Zelaya blocks a jab.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Flagg.
Zelaya scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A big right from Flagg misses.
Flagg slips under a jab.
Flagg misses with a wild body shot.
Flagg lands with a nice body kick.
Zelaya steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Flagg.

A jab lands there for Flagg.
Flagg lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Zelaya on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zelaya takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Flagg fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zelaya on the side of the head.
Zelaya misses with an uppercut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zelaya crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flagg - the referee stops the clock and Zelaya gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flagg. Zelaya manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Flagg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Zelaya lands a jab.
Randall Flagg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zelaya misses the body punch
and Flagg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Flagg fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zelaya wants to slow Flagg down by chopping away at his legs.
Flagg lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zelaya pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Flagg throws a jab when Zelaya was well out of range.

Walter Alexander Zelaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zelaya's coach down at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zelaya's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Flagg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Flagg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zelaya. Flagg does a little dance to reset his feet.
Flagg throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Flagg throws a wild body kick that Zelaya sees coming a mile off.
Flagg checks the leg kick nicely there.

and Zelaya counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Flagg!

Zelaya sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Flagg is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Flagg tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flagg on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flagg tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zelaya cracks Flagg with a big right hand but Flagg just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Flagg is looking to regain half guard here but Zelaya keeps moving and retains side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Flagg is trying to control Zelaya's posture but Zelaya avoids it.
Zelaya throws an elbow but Flagg slips to the side and avoids it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Randall Flagg will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Zelaya throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Flagg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Flagg checks a leg kick.
Flagg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A combination from Flagg does no damage.
Flagg bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zelaya's head backwards.
Zelaya stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zelaya takes one on the button.
Flagg throws a hook to the side of Zelaya's head but Zelaya sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zelaya misses with a low kick as Flagg jumps back.
Flagg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Zelaya misses with a body shot.
Zelaya dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Flagg takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zelaya throws a quick inside leg kick.
Zelaya misses with an uppercut
and Flagg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Flagg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Flagg does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Flagg lands with a straight right. Zelaya didn't see that one coming.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Flagg, right into the meat.
Zelaya shoots in looking for a takedown. Flagg tries to sprawl out of it but Zelaya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flagg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Flagg does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Flagg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zelaya's sensitive parts.

Some bone on bone action there as Zelaya checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Flagg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zelaya looks to land a left hand but Flagg moved out of range nicely.
Flagg's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zelaya connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Flagg scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zelaya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Flagg.
Flagg's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zelaya under the eye.
Flagg swings for the body but Zelaya moves out of range.

Flagg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Zelaya lands with a kick to the temple. Flagg shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Flagg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zelaya is still on wobbly legs! Can Flagg finish him?
Flagg connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Flagg with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Zelaya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zelaya takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Flagg lands a jab to Zelaya's midsection.
Flagg lands a big head kick that sends Zelaya to the canvas! Flagg follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randall Flagg!

Randall Flagg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
