Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hare shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hare could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hare misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hare drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Hare decides to stand back up. Hare steps back and let's Lesnar get back to his feet.

Lesnar drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Hare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hare wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hare controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself.

Lesnar gets to his feet - Hare follows without any prompting.

Hare looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hare looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesnar's guard.
Hare would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hare can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lesnar seems keen to control Hare's posture.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hare is on top in guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hare tries to pull guard but Lesnar won't allow it.

Lesnar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hare clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hare looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Hare manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lesnar's guard. Nice work there by Hare.

Hare throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lesnar escapes and throws Hare's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hare looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lesnar is fending him off so far but Hare persists. Nope, Lesnar circles away and we're back to standing.

Lesnar stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Hare has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Lesnar manages to get his head free but now Hare has transitioned to an armbar! Lesnar grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Hare! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
