Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Samson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Samson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Diesel!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson misses with a head kick.
Samson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Samson moves into range and clinches up with Diesel.
A right hand to the body from Diesel.
Diesel scores with a shot to the side of Samson's head.
Diesel jumps guard but Samson stands there with Diesel around his waist. Diesel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Diesel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Samson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diesel tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Samson counters with a shoot takedown. Diesel fights it but they end up in guard.
Samson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Diesel wants to sweep but no luck.
Samson won't allow Diesel to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diesel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Samson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Diesel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Samson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Diesel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Samson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diesel is tightening it up a little... Samson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Samson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Samson taps out! nice BJJ there by Diesel!
