Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista has chosen Monster - Kendrick Lamar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jerome Batista enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Batista!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver gets tackled into the cage by Batista. Batista maintains the clinch.
Oliver blocking some punches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Batista.
Oliver jumps guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Oliver looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We're going to have a standup here because Trenton Oliver wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Batista instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Batista creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oliver has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Batista avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Oliver as Batista tries to tie him up.
Batista gets through Oliver's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oliver is trying to drag Batista to the mat but Batista just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Oliver lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Batista is trying to hold Oliver in close to prevent damage but Oliver has managed to pass into half guard.

Oliver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Batista wants to get back to his feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jerome Batista wasn't active enough on the ground.
Batista has Oliver up against the cage in a clinch.
Oliver goes for a takedown attempt but Batista pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trenton Oliver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batista instigates a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oliver goes for a takedown in the clinch but Batista prevents it.
Batista scores with a nice hook to the head.
Oliver is rocked!
Batista misses with a short punch on the inside.
Oh Oliver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Batista creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Oliver with a big uppercut! Oliver tries to clinch up but Batista pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Oliver to the mat! Oliver covers up and Batista unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jerome Batista!
In his post fight interview, Jerome Batista started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
