1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Pinsent! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinsent doesn't manage to clinch there - Kint circles away.
Pinsent wants to clinch up but Kint keeps it at a distance. Pinsent takes the fight into the clinch. Pinsent is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kint has Pinsent pressed against the cage, preventing Pinsent from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pinsent looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Pinsent wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pinsent manages to break the clinch.
Kint throws a leg kick but Pinsent sees it coming and checks it nicely. Jesse Pinsent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pinsent throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kint has a takedown stuffed. Kint keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinsent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kint. Kint wants to land a leg kick but Pinsent is out of range. Pinsent throws a jab when Kint was well out of range. Kint throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kint blocks a head kick by Pinsent.
Kint uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pinsent. Kint throws a leg kick that misses. Pinsent throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The fighters circling - Pinsent throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kint dives in and scores a takedown into Pinsent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
