Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Skinner Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donato Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - A Love More True. Russo has chosen Imagine Dragons-Radioactive as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinner Crowe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 27 - 1, fighting out of New York, Donato Russo! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crowe looks to land a left hand but Russo moved out of range nicely. Russo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Russo misses with a two punch combination.
Russo feints a jab promting Crowe to slip. Russo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crowe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Russo thumps Crowe with a low kick. Crowe drives through with a takedown into Russo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Crowe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Crowe forces his way into half guard. Crowe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Crowe looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Crowe works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowe throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Crowe throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Russo because Crowe loaded up on that one. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crowe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Russo really wants to buck Crowe off and get back to his feet. Russo is in a horrible position here. Crowe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Crowe is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Russo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Russo blocking the ground and pound. Poor strikes thrown by Crowe there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Crowe working Russo over with strikes here. Russo is trying to stand. Crowe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Russo is now in Crowe's guard. A big mistake from Crowe there, giving up the dominant position! Crowe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crowe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crowe is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe looking to pass the guard. Crowe trying to control but Russo is working from the bottom. Crowe wants to pass the guard but Russo is keeping the position. Russo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crowe. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Russo swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A good leg kick by Crowe. Crowe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Crowe is looking to score with low kicks. Crowe connects with a solid leg kick. Crowe thows a body shot but no joy. Russo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Russo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Crowe getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Crowe tries to score with a low kick but Russo moves his leg out of the way. Crowe throws a jab when Russo was well out of range. Crowe misses with a series of wild punches.

Crowe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo throws the kick towards the body but Crowe avoids it. Russo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crowe circles away quickly and effectively. Crowe misses with a straight left. Crowe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Russo connects with a leg kick. Crowe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Russo just misses with a punch to the body.

Skinner Crowe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crowe misses with a hook. Crowe motions for Russo to come forward. Crowe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Russo misses with a wild combination.

Russo lands a head kick. Crowe smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Crowe lands a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crowe keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Crowe misses with a straight left. Russo moves out of range of the body kick from Crowe.
Crowe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Russo. A lazy left from Crowe finds it's target. Russo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Crowe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Russo tries to avoid it but Crowe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Russo to the ground. Russo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Russo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Russo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crowe blocks a low kick nicely. Russo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crowe eats them both and turns towards Russo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Russo misses with a head kick.
Crowe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Russo avoids it really well and circles away. Crowe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russo gets off balance looking for a body kick and Crowe counters with a takedown into side control. Crowe in side control, throwing shots but Russo defends. Crowe is looking to take a break and control but Russo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've been hearing good reports from Crowe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Crowe lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Crowe tries to score with some ground and pound. Russo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Russo is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crowe is looking to take a break and control but Russo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Russo parries the strikes from Crowe easily there. Crowe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Russo to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crowe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Russo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Skinner Crowe dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Crowe moves out of range of the leg kick from Russo. Russo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crowe. That did some damage! Crowe looks for a takedown but Russo sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo lands a head kick. Crowe smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Crowe throws a sloppy head kick and Russo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Russo throws a head kick that Crowe semi-blocks.
Russo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Russo. That's going to slow Crowe down. A slapping body kick lands there for Russo. Crowe walks into a left hand. Russo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Russo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Crowe backs up against the cage.
Crowe tries for a takedown but Russo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skinner Crowe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crowe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Russo. Russo obviously looking to wear him down.
Crowe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Russo throws a low kick, looking for Crowe's leg but Crowe calmly moves out of range. Crowe checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crowe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Russo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Crowe. Donato Russo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Crowe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Russo scores with a decent looking hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Russo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Russo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Crowe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Crowe throws the kick towards the body but Russo avoids it. Russo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crowe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Russo throws a jab but it's blocked by Crowe. Russo misses with a kick to the body.
Russo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Russo misses with a low kick as Crowe jumps back. Crowe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Russo to the mat! Russo manages to get full guard. Crowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Russo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe looking to sit in guard and control but Russo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Donato Russo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Russo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Crowe is proving hard to escape from. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Russo preventing the sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Donato Russo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Crowe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
