Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Halmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cedric Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rich Halmin! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Halmin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Halmin is looking to improve his position.
Halmin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Halmin regains full guard. Nicely done. Halmin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Halmin wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely. Halmin looking to ground and pound but Miller is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Miller tries to hold on but Halmin pushes him away. Miller slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Halmin wants to take a breather but Miller is having none of it. Miller trying to control but Halmin postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller gets full guard. Miller is adopting a defensive guard. Halmin trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is striking but Halmin is not phased and passes to half guard. Halmin stands up from half guard. Halmin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miller did well to prevent Halmin getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Halmin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Miller moves into full guard.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halmin trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller is trying to control the position but Halmin postures up. Miller throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Halmin is fighting to break Miller's control of his arms but Miller is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Halmin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller wants to stand but Halmin is controlling the position. Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miller wants to sweep but no luck. Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Halmin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Halmin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Miller is doing well to control the position and prevent Halmin from advancing to side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Halmin manages to mount him!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller working to try and regain half guard.
Miller tries to hold on but Halmin pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rich Halmin will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A head kick by Halmin misses and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Miller wants to clinch up but Halmin keeps it at a distance. Halmin is looking to slow Miller down with leg kicks. Miller tries to clinch but Halmin is having none of it. Miller is looking to clinch but Halmin is avoiding it.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Halmin pushes him off. Halmin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Halmin lands in his opponent's guard. Halmin passes Miller's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Halmin is taking a breather. Miller says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Miller misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Halmin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Rich Halmin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Miller is trying to maintain the position but Halmin is very close to passing his half guard. Miller flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Halmin has control of the leg. Halmin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head. Miller works his way to full guard. Good work. Miller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miller will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Miller pulls Halmin in close to prevent any damage. Halmin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halmin trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Miller is looking to clinch. Halmin gets the takedown into side control. Halmin is breathing heavily. Miller prevents Halmin from improving position. Halmin working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Halmin wants to stand but Miller is controlling his arm. Halmin trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Halmin working away. Miller is looking to regain half guard here but Halmin keeps moving and retains side control. Miller throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Miller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Miller is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Halmin is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control. Miller has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Cedric Miller will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Miller clinches up against the cage. Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Come on Miller - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Miller is trying to break the clinch but Halmin is controlling him. Halmin pulls guard effortlessly. Miller chips away with some ground and pound. Miller working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Halmin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller throws a big right hand that misses. Miller scoring with punches to the head and body. Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Halmin trying to control the position.
Halmin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miller lands a couple of elbows. Halmin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him. Halmin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Halmin's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halmin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Halmin working a defensive guard here.
Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Halmin. Miller stands and throws Halmin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halmin on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Miller lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Halmin down.
Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Halmin throws a few strikes from the bottom but Miller takes advantage and mounts! Halmin tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. Miller working away from the top, dropping strikes. Miller unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller raining down shots from the mount! Halmin is looking to get to half guard. Miller landing strikes from the mount and Halmin is in trouble! Miller lands a heavy elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice elbow there by Miller. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Halmin looks a forlorn figure.
Miller prevents Halmin from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Cedric Miller showed his dominance in that final round. I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
