Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Tupac -Ambitionz Az A Ridah as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machida moves away.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Machida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gary Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva throws a jab when Machida was well out of range.
Machida clinches.
Silva lands a nice knee to the body.

Oh Machida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Machida blocks with his arms.

Silva lands a nice elbow.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Machida blocks it with crossed arms.
Machida seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva looking to throw knees to the head but Machida is blocking nicely.

A bit of stalling here from Machida.
Machida is trying to break the clinch but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Silva unloads a knee to the mid-section. Machida lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Machida has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Machida has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Machida blocks with his arms.
Machida wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Machida tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Machida drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyoto Machida. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Machida tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Machida drops back down to his feet.
Silva stalling in the clinch but Machida improves position.
Machida has Silva pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Machida pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Silva tumbling to the mat - Machida dives into Silva's guard.
Silva trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Machida has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Machida is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put Machida to sleep! This one is all over!
