Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rob Tracey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracey comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Seek & Destroy. Ashton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man. Rick Ashton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ashton!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tracey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ashton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ashton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ashton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tracey pushes Ashton up against the cage in a clinch.
Tracey is pressed up against the cage. Ashton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tracey down to the mat. Tracey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown but Tracey shows good takedown defense.
Ashton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tracey closes the distance and clinches.
Ashton wants to take the fight to the mat but Tracey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ashton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ashton goes for a takedown attempt but Tracey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tracey has closed the distance and engaged Ashton in a clinch.

Tracey lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ashton backwards.
Tracey misses with a hook from the clinch.

Tracey gets through Ashton's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Tracey cracks Ashton with a nice body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tracey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tracey throws a punch but it's blocked by Ashton.

Ashton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tracey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rick Ashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ashton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Tracey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tracey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Tracey is looking to slow Ashton down with leg kicks.
Ashton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ashton shoots in and drives through. Tracey sprawls well.
Tracey lands a jab to the nose.
Tracey misses with the combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tracey, as that shot connected.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tracey as he jumps to the side.

Ashton misses with a wild combination.
Ashton gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ashton tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Tracey is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ashton buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ashton!! Ashton is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Tracey throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Tracey!
Post fight, Rob Tracey took to the microphone: 'My last few fights have been tough. Losing is never easy to handle. I knew if I stuck to my training and deployed the full arsenal of TFS that tonight I would get back on track. One step at a time back to my title.'.
