Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heimo Hulahula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heimo Hulahula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Williams! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Williams throws a low kick but Hulahula avoids it. Williams swings for the body but Hulahula moves out of range.
Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hulahula was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams. Williams tries to work over Hulahula's front leg with a kick but Hulahula checks it. Hulahula uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams throws a leg kick but Hulahula sees it coming and checks it nicely. Hulahula avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Williams throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Williams throws a nice looking combination but Hulahula bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Williams connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hulahula. Hulahula circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A low kick from Williams is predictable there and Hulahula counters with a leg kick. Williams lands a big head kick that sends Hulahula tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Hulahula back to his feet - he wants the finish! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams throws a lazy uppercut
and Hulahula counters with a left to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams throws a right hand that Hulahula ducks under and follows up with a left that Hulahula also avoids with ease. Hulahula uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.
An inside leg kick lands from Williams. Williams missing with a left hand there. Hulahula was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Williams misses with an uppercut. Hulahula saw that one coming. Williams scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hulahula tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Hulahula is just out of range. A low kick from Williams is predictable there and Hulahula counters with a left and a right that stings Williams. Hulahula displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab. Williams throws a lazy right hand but Hulahula sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams misses with a low kick as Hulahula jumps back. Williams waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hulahula. Hulahula defending well as Williams loads up on a big left hand. Williams swings away with a leg kick that misses. Williams misses with a wild body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams moves to clinch but Hulahula breaks away and Hulahula counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Williams throws a leg kick but Hulahula sees it coming and moves out of range. Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hulahula counters with a solid body kick. Williams is looking to score with low kicks. Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A combination from Williams does no damage. Josh Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup. Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hulahula was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hulahula checks a leg kick. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Hulahula might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Williams throws a leg kick but Hulahula moved away. Josh Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams lands with a good body shot. Heimo Hulahula is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

They are putting on a show! Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing. Williams drops Hulahula with a beautiful combination! Hulahula stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Williams is looking for the KO! Williams throws a leg kick but Hulahula moved away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams tries a low kick but Hulahula avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Hulahula moves out of range easily. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hulahula's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Williams misses with a looping right. Williams is looking to clinch. Williams has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Williams is looking to clinch. A combination from Williams does no damage. Some wild striking there from Williams.
