Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Shervan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but King moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shervan tries to work over King's front leg with a kick but King checks it.
Geramy King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shervan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

King rushes Shervan and presses him up against the cage.
King is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shervan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

King goes for a double leg but Shervan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shervan continues to drive forward.

Shervan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shervan wants it to stay on the feet.
King takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shervan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Shervan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shervan as he jumps to the side.
King moves out of range as Shervan throws a body kick.
King fails with an attempt to clinch.

Shervan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches King on the side of the head.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shervan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shervan.
King slips under a jab.
Shervan is looking to score with low kicks.
Shervan misses with the combination.

King closes the distance and clinches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

King drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

King shoots in and bounces Shervan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

King won't allow Shervan to get back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shervan can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Geramy King.
I think Shervan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
