Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Bulger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryszard Duch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duch is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by John Cage's 4'33". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joseph Bulger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryszard Duch! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duch tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bulger counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Duch! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Duch is looking to regain half guard here but Bulger keeps moving and retains side control. Bulger tries to stand but Duch is controlling his head. Bulger is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Duch has escaped the position, nice work there. Bulger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bulger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Duch tries to buck Bulger off but Bulger is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulger goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Duch rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bulger's guard! Nice work there by Duch! Duch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bulger looking for a guillotine here but Duch defends easily.
Duch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bulger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bulger has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulger wants to get up but he can't break Duch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Duch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Duch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bulger trying to control but Duch is working from the bottom. Duch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bulger is aware though and is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bulger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bulger has Duch in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bulger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Duch defends it easily. Duch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bulger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bulger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bulger has escaped and now he's on top! Bulger trying to control but Duch is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bulger is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Duch has a closed guard, preventing Bulger from standing up. Bulger looking to sit in guard and control but Duch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duch has gone for a leg lock! Bulger slips out almost immediately though and dives into Duch's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Duch working for a triangle but Bulger defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joseph Bulger dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bulger gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bulger is looking for a triangle but Duch pushes his legs off easily.
Duch drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Duch seems to have locked his on tight now - Bulger screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Duch, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Ryszard Duch! After the fight, Ryszard Duch was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
