Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pierre Bardas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Pierre Bardas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbot throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bardas on the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Abbot.
No luck for Bardas with that takedown attempt. Abbot getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bardas closes the distance and clinches up with Abbot, looking for a takedown. Bardas pushes Abbot against the cage but Abbot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bardas misses with a takedown attempt - Abbot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Pierre Bardas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bardas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Abbot.
Abbot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bardas.
Abbot moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bardas goes down! Can Abbot finish him!?
Bardas is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Abbot is looking to stand up but Bardas won't let him. Oh Bardas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Abbot is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Bardas seems to have got his legs back now. Bardas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bardas tries to get out of the position. Bardas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bardas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Abbot's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bardas content just to control the position here. Bardas throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bardas looking to ground and pound but Abbot is blocking nicely. Abbot blocking the ground and pound. Bardas lands a heavy elbow. Bardas controlling the pace for now. Bardas landing strikes from the mount and Abbot is in trouble! Bardas landing strikes from the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bardas throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bardas misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Abbot is trying to stand up. Bardas cracks Abbot with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bardas won't let Abbot get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Bardas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Abbot is looking to escape. Bardas thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Abbot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bardas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. BOOM! Bardas connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bardas putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Abbot in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bardas wants to finish this one by submission but Abbot is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bardas. Bardas punishing his opponent with strikes. Bardas misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Abbot avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bardas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Abbot dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Horrible takedown by Bardas or perhaps it was just good defense by Abbot which made him look bad. Abbot lands a glancing blow to the side of Bardas's head. Abbot throws a good cross that connects.
Abbot rushes Bardas with punches - Bardas moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Bardas goes down! Abbot follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Abbot!
