Batista has chosen Monster - Kendrick Lamar as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jerome Batista enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Batista tries to close the distance and clinch but Hines swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Batista with a jab.
Batista tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Batista tries to bum rush Hines with a series of wild strikes but Hines uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Batista throws out a loose jab but Hines uses good head movement to avoid it.
Batista wants to clinch.
Batista tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hines manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jerome Batista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hines takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hines blocks a head kick by Batista.
Batista cracks Hines with a right hand to the side of the head.

Hines is rocked!
Hines leaves his chin hanging out and Batista seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hines crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Jerome Batista tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
