PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Waterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hunting High and Low. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Waterson misses with a head kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Waterson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Waterson is looking to escape.

Waterson tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control.
Waterson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Silva is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Silva extends the arm and Waterson is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rodrigo Silva!
A relieved looking Rodrigo Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
