With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Valdir Espinosa!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Espinosa does it's job there.
Valdir Espinosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wimms. Espinosa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Espinosa is looking to clinch but Wimms is avoiding it.
Wimms avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wimms looks to throw the jab but Espinosa is out of range.
Espinosa throws a leg kick which misses Wimms's front leg but catches the back leg as Wimms tries to avoid it.
Espinosa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wimms as he avoids it easily.
Espinosa looks for a takedown but Wimms sprawls well.
Wimms avoids the head kick by Espinosa.
Espinosa goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nice defenses there by Wimms.

and Wimms counters with a single leg into guard. Espinosa didn't expect that.

Wimms is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Wimms is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Espinosa can do to turn this around?
Wimms's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wimms has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Espinosa is in real trouble here. Wimms gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Espinosa is tapping out! Wimms wins by rear naked choke!
