The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chavez circles away quickly and effectively.
Cola connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chavez. Chavez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Freeman Chavez has been cut.
Cola swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chavez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cola connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chavez scrambles back to his feet.

Chavez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cola!
Chavez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cola is pushing Chavez's head away, looking to escape. Chavez manages to hold on to the position though.
Chavez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chavez tries to score with some ground and pound. Cola controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Cola is trying to buck Chavez off.
