The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun with a poor takedown
and Christensen counters with a nice uppercut.
Christensen clinches up with Gun and pushes him back against the cage.
Christensen gets underhooks to prevent Gun's takedown attempt.
Gun has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Christensen after a bit of a struggle.
Lou Christensen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Gun.
Christensen stalling in the clinch.
Gun can't get the takedown.
Christensen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Gun goes for a takedown attempt but Christensen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Christensen tries to sprawl but Gun drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gun is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Christensen is looking for a sweep. Gun is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gun seems to be looking for submissions.
Christensen is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Gun is working for an americana but Christensen has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Gun was thinking about the submission.
Christensen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gun drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Christensen dives on top into guard.
Christensen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Christensen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gun looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Christensen has picked Gun up and slammed him! Gun can't keep hold of the triangle and Christensen manages to pass to side control!
Gun is looking for a sweep.
Christensen misses with the ground and pound.

Gun is not content to let Christensen control the position.
Gun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Christensen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gun is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Christensen off and has taken his back!
Gun has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Christensen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Christensen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Gun gets his way!

Christensen rolls, trying to escape but Gun keeps control of the position.

Gun is looking for the choke from the back position but Christensen is controlling his hands well.

Gun has his arm under Christensen's chin here. Game over son! Gun squeezes tightly and Christensen is forced to tap out!
