Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MT Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that MT Spar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, MT Spar! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Spar pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Spar clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage. Spar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Spar working Silva over with knees to the body. Silva is trying to pull guard but Spar turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Silva misses with a knee strike.

Anderson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MT Spar. Spar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Silva is keeping busy. Silva is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Spar to keep the fight standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Spar wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Spar advances to half guard. Spar tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Spar wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well. Spar keeps trying to improve his position. Spar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Spar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Spar.
Spar wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.

OK we're going to have a standup here. MT Spar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Silva gets caught napping as Spar dives in and scores a takedown. Silva manages to retain guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spar wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away. No luck for Spar with that takedown attempt. A big left from Spar misses. Spar tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Silva is looking to clinch. Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Spar gets in close and instigates a clinch. Spar goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Spar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Spar tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it. Spar forces Silva back against the cage and clinches. Spar throws a punch but it's blocked by Silva. Spar is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Spar fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Spar jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Spar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Excellent takedown into side control there by Spar. You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Silva wants to get back to his feet. Spar with the ground and pound but Silva regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Spar sits in half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spar tries to stand and escape but Silva is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Spar shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Spar throws a hook but Silva blocks it. Silva tries to clinch but Spar is having none of it. Spar fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch. Spar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Spar pushes him off. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spar is defended easily by Silva. Anderson Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spar throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage. Spar looking for a takedown. Spar jumps guard but Silva stands there with Spar around his waist. Spar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

MT Spar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Anderson Silva's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's going to take a lot out of MT Spar. Spar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage. Spar jumps guard but Silva stands there with Spar around his waist. Spar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Silva keeping full guard, as Spar tries to pass. Spar passes into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Anderson Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! MT Spar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Spar stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! MT Spar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Spar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
