Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Son Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rohan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Briggs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Khan happy to just control the position for now.

Khan tries for a kimura but Briggs is defending well.

Khan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Khan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Briggs is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Khan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Briggs takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oh Briggs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Briggs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Khan has hold of Briggs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Briggs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
