Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Dark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dark is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Oomph! Labyrinth. The key to victory for Andy Yang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang misses with a series of wild punches.
Dark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dark feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dark loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dark not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Dark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Dark trying to control the position from guard on top but Yang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yang tries to get out of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Demon Dark was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Yang cracks Dark with a good jab.

It looks like Demon Dark has been cut.

Dark avoids a punch combination nicely.

Dark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yang tries to bench press Dark off him but Dark keeps the position.
Dark misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dark scores with a couple of short elbows.
Dark throwing shots but missing, from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dark wants to control but Yang is keeping him busy.

Dark is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Yang gets back to half guard.
Dark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dark thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Dark is keen to just control but Yang is a slippery customer.

Dark tries to pass to full mount but Yang defends it.

Dark throws a strike but Yang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dark is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Yang lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Horrible takedown by Dark or perhaps it was just good defense by Yang which made him look bad.
Yang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dark's coach down at Diamond In The Rough Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dark's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dark blocks the body kick.
Yang looks to land a combination but Dark avoids it well.
A combination from Yang does no damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nice combo by Yang! Oh, that's hurt him - Dark falls to the canvas and Yang follows him into side control.

Dark is rocked!
Yang wants to stand but Dark is controlling his arm.
Dark is trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Andy Yang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
No joy there for Yang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Yang. Those never looked like landing.
Andy Yang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yang tries to bum rush Dark with a series of wild strikes but Dark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dark shoots in but no luck this time.
Andy Yang is winning the standup battle so far.

Dark fails with a takedown attempt.
Andy Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Dark.

Yang pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dark back to the cage. Yang follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That has opened up Demon Dark's cut even more.
Yang rushes Dark with punches - Dark moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Dark goes down! Yang follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
