The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Medvedev cracks Hanson with a right hand to the side of the head.

Hanson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Medvedev dives on top into guard.

Hanson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Medvedev is defending well. Hanson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Medvedev has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hanson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
