Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucien Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maek Barun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maek Barun will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guerrero moves away.
Barun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barun, right into the meat.
Barun lands a leg kick that knocks Guerrero off balance momentarily.
Barun swings for the body but Guerrero moves out of range.
Barun tries to clinch up but Guerrero circles away and keeps his distance.

Guerrero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Barun does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Barun walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Guerrero checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Guerrero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barun sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guerrero somewhat.
